Rooted in Bali, guided by breath

Yoga that meets you where you are

My yoga journey began long before I stepped onto a mat in Bali, but it was there — during my 200-hour teacher training at Blooming lotus School in ubud Bali — that it truly deepened. Training in the heart of traditional Hatha and Ayurvedic philosophy opened up a more meaningful, embodied way of moving and connecting with breath. My approach to yoga is grounded, slow, and intentional. Whether you're completely new or returning to the mat, I offer a space that’s calm, supportive, and centred around what you need in the moment — whether that’s movement, stillness, or simply space to breathe.

Yoga isn’t about how it looks — it’s about how it feels.

A Practice That Grows With You

Yoga has become a constant in my life — not just as a physical practice, but as a way of staying connected to myself. What I’ve learned through teaching and training is that yoga doesn’t need to be complicated or perfect. It simply needs to be honest. In our sessions, we move at your pace, tuning in to breath, body, and how you feel on that day. It’s not about flexibility or form — it’s about creating space to slow down, feel grounded, and return to yourself.

From global spas to grounded presence

How yoga became my quiet anchor.

Yoga found me gradually, through years of working in wellness around the world, but it was my teacher training in Bali that truly grounded me in the practice. What I offer now is simple and sincere: slow, breath-led yoga rooted in traditional Hatha and Ayurvedic, shaped by my time in india and the blooming lotus School Ubud Bali. It’s not about how it looks, it’s about how it feels. My sessions are personal, steady, and created to meet you exactly where you are.

Yoga has been part of my life for longer than I probably realised. Working in wellness and spa environments across the world, I was always drawn to the slower, more intentional ways people connect with their bodies. Whether I was in India, Nepal, Bali or Thailand, I kept seeing yoga woven into the rhythm of everyday wellbeing, not as a trend or a workout, but as a way of living and listening.

But for a long time, I was the one behind the scenes. I was designing treatments, curating spa journeys, and supporting others in their healing, holding space but rarely taking it for myself. Like a lot of people in the wellness industry, I spent years giving. And although I loved that part of my work, I realised I needed something that was mine. Something that helped me reconnect with my own breath, my own body, my own stillness.

That’s when I really started listening to the quiet pull of yoga. Not the fast-paced, performative kind. The grounding, breath-led kind. The kind that meets you where you are.

I had practiced on and off for years, but I knew I wanted to go deeper, not just for the sake of learning, but to understand how this practice could support me and others on a much deeper level. That intention took me to Bali, a place I’d visited before and felt a deep connection with. In 2022, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at the blooming Lotus School in Ubud Bali a place rooted in traditional yoga and Ayurvedic philosophy.

That training changed everything for me.

The Practice doesn’t just teach yoga poses, it teaches philosophy, breath, ritual, and discipline. We studied with incredible teachers like Lily Conclaves and Ramananda May, who opened my eyes to the depth and intelligence of Hatha yoga as a complete system, not just a physical form. His understanding of energetics, structure, and tradition gave me tools I now use every day, in both my personal practice and my sessions with others.

One of the biggest lessons I took from that experience was that yoga isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing less, with more awareness. Learning to feel rather than force. To honour the phases of life, the rhythms of nature, the energy in the body. I began to understand that yoga is about returning to the self, and that requires space, breath, and presence. Not perfection.

My time in Bali also gave me a slower pace that I hadn’t allowed myself in years. After working at some of the most high-end spas in the world, Corinthia London One and only Maldivies and Mauritius, Penisula Tokyo and leela Palace Udipur, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, and many others, I was used to high standards, busy days, and constantly creating for others. Being in a shala, barefoot, quiet, with nothing but breath and stillness, it was a reset I didn’t know I needed.

Since returning, I’ve continued to study and learn. I’ve taken part in ongoing courses on restorative yoga, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. I’ve worked with mentors who have helped me integrate the teachings from Bali into everyday life, making the practice accessible, real, and grounded.

My style of teaching is slow, steady, and rooted in breath. I don’t believe yoga should be about shapes or striving. It’s about returning to the body, calming the mind, and honouring whatever is true for you in that moment. My background in bodywork gives me a deep understanding of physical alignment, but I also hold space for the energetic and emotional side of the practice, the layers we often overlook.

Today, yoga for me is a quiet anchor. A way to stay grounded no matter what’s going on externally. It’s what helps me breathe deeper, listen more closely, and move through life with more steadiness. And it’s what I love sharing with others.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to reconnect with a practice that feels more intuitive and less performative, I’d love to guide you. My sessions are personal, calm, and always centred around your experience, not mine. I’m not here to lead from the front of the room. I’m here to walk alongside you.

A quiet space to listen, move, and reconnect.

What to Expect in a Session

Each yoga session with me is a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. You don’t need to be flexible, experienced or even confident to begin. We’ll start with a short check-in so I can understand how you’re feeling physically, mentally and energetically. From there, we’ll move through a sequence that supports your body and breath on that day. Sessions may include breathwork, grounding postures, gentle movement, restorative holds or quiet stillness. Everything is led with care and intention, and there’s never any pressure to push or perform. This is your time to soften, settle and come home to yourself.
